» The Moral Majority *cough* *cough*
HaHa HeeHee If anyone is really paying attention to the newest coming from the Republican camp - hasty, inexperienced choice for VP with an unmarried, pregnant teenage daughter - they should be totally flummoxed at the audacity and sheer arrogance that this party presents to real, honest-to-goodness conservative Americans. Actually, some might even find it all kinda cuckoo. On the order of - surreal. What were they thinking?!? Family values? Party of Righteousness? God’s Chosen?
Really! Tee hee & tricksy titters!
*cough* *cough* How much more evidence does the conservative members of our society need to convince them that the quasi-conservative “Republicans” do not represent them! For that matter, Republicans represent only themselves - NeoCONS. The new convicts. Wheeeee! As opposed to the.. old cons? Hee hee What’s the diff? A cell is a cell is a cell. Okay. Okaaay, the Republicans have taken over - stolen for cripe’s sake - the conservative party! Ohhh, gee whiz, “Life happens,” according to McCain adviser Steve Schmidt about Palin’s pregnant, unwed teenage daughter. “An American family,” from stu-nod Mark Salter. “An American Family.” Sounds to me like they’re trying to convince us this is the typical, normal, average American family. Bzzzzt! Wrong. It’s a sad family where something went wrong, but hardly what one would expect from our First Family, folks! Think about it. For God’s sake America’s sake, think about it!
It’s this kind of blasé-faire attitude about these newest revelations and not taking to task Republicans who base their political platform on morality, self-control, and abstinence that makes me wonder if I’ve just walked through the wall into the Twilight Zone!
Isn’t it out-of-wedlock teenage pregnancy that rips at the fabric of family values that true conservatives support and teach their children? As in, respect for tradition, morality, the need for self-control and being responsible enough to wait until after marriage to have children?
So, you see, there’s a biiiiiiiig disconnect here permeating throughout the “Republican” party if they allow this ticket any legitimacy at all . Is this McCain-Palin ticket the best the Republican party can come up with? Is McCain-Palin going to represent over 50% of Americans! I sincerely doubt it. Folks, the writing is on the wall. And I think it reads: Republican Party? Republican Party? Hee hee - The GOP thought you said, “Pull the plug” on the Party. *tricksy titters*
