» Sooo…

Sooo…  this is a word that T usually to start really important stories.  And I’ve come to realize that I use ’so’ to end my rather unimportant stories.  It’s sort of a weird parallel between us.  But seriously, when I’m ending a pointless story, or mundane conversation I always end it with so.  Dumb, right?  So…

I didn’t blog yesterday, sorry.  I was busy doing really important stuff.  Like watching America’s Next Top Model and trimming my bangs.  Actually, my weekend was anything but important.  As you know, T is in Africa.  I never thought I’d say that my boyfriend lives in Africa.  But he does.  :(  Well, he doesn’t live in Africa, but he has to be there on and off for who knows how long.  And yes, it does suck.  A lot.  You don’t really realize how much you like being with someone until they are gone.  He’s my best friend.  It just sucks not to be able to hug him or talk to him (phone service/time difference sucks).  I don’t have anyone to joke with or share my really, really witty comments with.  I miss him.  All together now…awwww.

Friday night I went to Wally World to get some groceries and stuff.  Then I watched P.S. I Love You.  It wasn’t that great of a movie, but I cried.  I cried through the entire movie!  I seriously never used to cry during movies.  Never!  Then one day it started happening.  It’s really wierd.  Plus, I was bumming about T leaving me so I guess that didn’t help.  Last time T went away to Germany I used that time to catch up on all those sappy, sad, girly movies that I always claim to despise.  And there are a lot of those type of movies that I need to catch up on since his last departure.  My Net Flix queue is full of sappy movies right now.  Along with P.S. I Love You, I also had Must Love Dogs from Net Flix.  You get 2 movies at a time, btw.  Stupid me…I had already watched Must Love Dogs during T’s stay in Germany.  It wasn’t good enough to watch again.  So I read some magazines and watched a bunch of episodes of Jon & Kate Plus 8 that I had recorded.  I love love love that show.  I don’t really know why either, cuz kids kinda drive me crazy.  Oh!  I actually went to the YMCA and did a step aerobics class.  Wow…Friday was pretty dull.  Maybe Saturday was more exciting.

Umm…nope.  Saturday I slept in.  It’s a fave past time of mine.  I went to Hollywood Video to rent a couple more movies, because the two from NetFlix just weren’t enough to fill my time.  I rented Tristan & Isolde and Fight Club.  After the movie store I took Hurley to the dog park.  The dog park is a wonderful place.  And Hurley is very well behaved.  I think I’ve mentioned that before.  The dog park has a section for small doggies and section for big doggies.  The big doggy section is way bigger and has a walking trail.  Hurley was the victim of a speeding bullet in the form of an Australian Shepard.  The dog seriously ran him over.  H went tumbling like a tumble weed into the dirt.  Shortly after, I noticed that he was limping a little bit.  Later that night at home I inspected his paws and he had scraped the top layer of skin off his front paw pad.  So H is a gimpy little dog for a few days while it heals.  Poor thing.  After the dog park I started watching  my movies.  Unfortunately I had already watched Tristan & Isolde during T’s stay in Germany.  Dang it!  And somewhere in there (NetFlix of Hollywood Video?) I watched the movie Atonement.  Atonement was pretty good for one of those Award winning type of movies.  Saturday I also thought about cleaning the apartment.  I didn’t get around to doing it, but I thought about it.  And thinking is the first step, right?

Sunday…  Not high on the list of the most exciting days in my life.  I watched Fight Club which is a seriously awesome movie.  I had seen parts of the movie before, but never sat down and watched it fully.  I loved it.  And Brad Pitt is a freakin’ babe in it.  And I also love Edward Norton.  After Fight Club I began the cleaning process.  You wouldn’t think that a tiny apartment with one person could get so messy/dirty.  Well, it does.  I vaccummed (or vacummed?) the entire place, cleaned the kitchen, and cleaned the bathroom.  Mission accomplished.  I always feel better with a tidy place.  Why do I let it get messy again?  I also watched the MTV Movie Awards.  It was ok.  The highlight for me was when Mike Meyers (who was the host) and Dana Carvey did a Wayne’s World thing.  They seriously don’t look like they’ve aged at all since their SNL days.  And now I’m writing my blog and watching True Life: I live another life on the web.  I almost auditioned for this one since I pretend to be a normal person on the web, but in real life I’m a drug dealer who is running from the law.

Basically, my weekend was boring, dull, and unproductive.  I just thought you would all be super interested in how I spend the last 72 hours of my life.

Sooooo…….

:)
