In the past few weeks, the girls have said some funny things, but they don’t really warrant individual posts, so I will put them here.

We took the girls to the dump to drop off a trunk full of garbage from our spring cleaning. When we got inside the girls were mesmerized by all the dump trucks, and piles of garbage. Dave explained that this is where all the garbage went that was picked up from our house on Tuesday. Hailie looked around and said “Where’s my diapers” As we were leaving, both girls said “Bye bye diapers.. see you later!”

Willow spilled her apple juice in the living room, and Hailie ran off to get a cloth to wipe it up. This angered Willow, and she started yelling “No, It’s my fault!!!”. Hailie really wanted to clean it up, so she started yelling “No, it’s MY fault!”. I couldn’t believe my kids were actually fighting about who got to clean up the spill.

We were leaving preschool, and two older boys were verbally fighting outside the door. One of the said “You are a booger head!” and the other relaiated with “No, you are a booger head!”. We were walking by them, and suddenly Willow stops, and pushed herself inbetween the boys and yells “You are a booger head!” I think we are going to be in trouble with our little tom boy!

We were on our way to the grocery store, which is something the girls really enjoy. Willow was whining in the back seat, and Dave said “Only big girls are allowed in the store, so if you don’t stop whining, you won’t be allowed to go in”. Willow replied “Ok, I am wiping my tears away!”

The girls are potty trained during the day now, but they still wear diapers at night.  Hailie wakes up one morning and says “I pooed.  It is a lot of poo, but it’s not diarrhea.” She was right.

This morning Dave asked Hailie where Tor lives.  She said “Canadian Tire” (he lives in Norway)
