I guess it is a moving photo.
We have two weeks left, but this is what our living room looks like today.
We are downsizing from nearly 3000 square feet to about 1600 and I couldn’t be more thrilled.
This morning in the shower I was thinking about the fact that we will go from four bathrooms (for a family of three!) to only two. That means only two toilets to clean! Hurrah!
In preparing to pare down and simplify our living arrangements we have sold on craigslist or given away all of the following:

One king-size tempurpedic mattress
One king-size headboard and footboard
One dresser
One leather sectional
One reclining sofa
One loveseat
Two recliners
One big screen tv
One entertainment center
Three fake plants
Two real plants
One rocking chair
One patio set
One coffee table, sofa table, end table set
One small bookcase
One microwave
One box of books
One down comforter
Numerous pillows
One craft table
One occasional table
One piano
Several bags of clothes

Still to go:
One tv
One desk

Here is what we will need to buy in Oregon:
One queen-size mattress set
One piano
That’s all!

We have everything else we need to comfortably furnish our new house. Over the years we have accumulated more and more things.
We have let go of about half of them.
I feel so free!
