» All of this without medication!!!!!!!!!

To quote Queen, “I want it all and I want it now.”  That’s right.  I want smart, beautiful, kind children, my loving sweet honey, the perfectly cleaned home, home made meals for my family everyday, a fat savings account and a not-so-fat waist.  I don’t ask for much, do I?

Oh, almost forgot . . . I’d like to be sane at the end of the day.  Or not so sane but medicated so that I will appear sane.

And more than the five hours of sleep that I am currently getting each night.

Let’s see how I’m doing:

happy, sweet, etc. kiddies — check

my sweet honey — check

perfectly cleaned home — eerrrwwww . . . needs attention

homemade family meals — I getting the meals on the table each night but it is a struggle.

savings — the bills are paid, ok!  get off of my back about it.

weight –  Needs work.  Lots of work.

sanity — I’m one of the sanest people I know.  However, I sometimes have bouts of what I call “mama guilt.”  I’m sure I’ll go into this more later.

sleep — I get plenty of sleep if I ignore all of the above.

To sum up:  Me, my sweet, well-adjusted children and my sweet honey all live in a somewhat clean and kind of organized home.  We have mostly nutritious meals but we do have these meals together.  All of our bills are paid but we have no savings to fall back on in case of an emergency.  And my fat ass is amazingly sane, which is surprising since I am sleep deprived and am not currently medicated.

Home sweet frickin’ home.

WHY SHOULD WOMEN SETTLE FOR #2 on the Presidential Ballot

Send in A WOMAN TO CLEAN THE WHITE HOUSE

VIDEO LINK:   http://www.hillaryspeaksforme.com/

It’s important to seriously consider the election and what  it means historically across racial and gender lines. Women in History who were Asian, Black,  European, Latina and  White made a noise from 1835-1862 and again in 1920 to obtain the following “Rights”.

  1. The “right” to their children up to the age of 7 years old.
  2. The “right” to have a divorce.
  3. The “right” to leave an abusive husband.
  4. The “right” to not have to obey their fathers and husbands.
  5. The “right” to inherited property or their own property.
  6. The “right” to their own money.
  7. The “right” to employment.
  8. The “right” to organize and speak in public.

”A Few” Courageous Women in Poltical History

Although we’ve had women run for President before, the following three were able to demonstrate: Knowledge of History, Intelligence, Courage.  Female Presidential Candidates must be applauded for their efforts. However, this is the first time a women made it this far into the March Electorial Primaries during the election year itself.

  1. The first female Presidential Candidate Vitoria Claflin 1872. (note: Before women could vote.)
  2. The first woman to appear on a presidential ballot printed by the government was Charlene Mitchell in 1968, an African American woman who ran for a third party, Communist Party USA, CPUSA.
  3. Hillary Clinton is the first woman to run for the Democratic Presidential Nominee.

While studying Women in History with my 10 year old son, my 6 year old son made a wise statement.  “The women born the boys, cook their food, clean their clothes, study with them, take them to sports, church, Doctor’s and the Dentist’s, sit with them all night when their sick, go to work, volunteer at the school and they still don’t  get to make the rules.”  That comment came out of the mouth of a little boy who thinks that Obama totally rocks.  He can’t understand why ”Mrs. Clinton”  still struggles to be the next President of the USA.

  1.  Senator Clinton KNOWS HOW to articulate an idea  and put it into a comprehensible ACTION Plan for the future. Foreign Policy, Economics, Green Enviorment.  SHE is the stronger of the two Candidates to take on McCain!
  2. She is a great mother and did it all for her daughter!
  3.  Lawyer and Senator
  4. Active First Lady who globally understands who to communicate with and knows the names of all World Leaders and Royalty,
  5. Supported her nuclear family during a publically tried personal matter
  6. An activist for the middle and lower class individuals

There has been plenty of talk about the Governor from Kansas to be Senator Obama’s Vice President.  Why should women settle for #2 on the Presidential ballot? Those who have gone before us have suffered to give women a form of equality.

Would you hire someone who was less qualified for the job?

Do you want someone who can stand on their feet when first in line to answer a question, or the second who finds it easier to “parrot” a response and on occassion have one differentiating idea?

When Hillary answers a question she doesn’t need time to think it over. Why?  Experience that she brings allows her to quickly see the consequences be they positive or negative in their effect short and long term.

It’s easy to criticize when you aren’t in position to make a serious choice.  Historically speaking there were many reasons not to go to war.  Any American who supported the war has no right to criticize those who made the choice to do so.  At least Hillary can say, “Based on what I know now and the information that has come out since, I would not have made the vote.”  Obama has a record showing the few votes he has made as Senator were mistakes, because he did not understand the meaning of the words within the “Bill” that he was voting on.  What do you look for in a Presidential Candidate?

No matter who you choose to vote for, remember the rhetoric that will still be faced by any administration.  Don’t believe for a moment that all soldiers will come home, as there are bases around the world from previous battles and wars still with our military stationed there to protect the United States interests.

THE RIGHT TO VOTE!

Die HappyDigits-Karte habe ich weggeworfen. Ich möchte keine Post mehr von HappyDigits bekommen, nicht über meinen Kontostand (der sich nie ändern wird), Werbung oder ähnliches.
